The role requires delivering compassionate patient care to adult and pediatric orthopedic and trauma patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse at a 154-bed healthcare facility.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, PALS certifications, associate degree in nursing or higher, current licensure, and 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit provides traction equipment and follows Meditech Electronic Health Record system. Unit-specific patient ratios are 5:1, serving both adult and pediatric orthopedic and trauma patients. Stitching and cast management are part of daily responsibilities.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have the required certifications prior to start and meet the facility's clinical standards.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
