Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse in en_US This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy healthcare environment, with shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires a dedicated RN to support patient assessments, care planning, and safety initiatives within a 13-week assignment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Location: en_US Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only) Education: Registered Nurse license Experience: 0 years minimum Location: en_US
• Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develops individualized care plans.
• Provides patient education and ongoing updates for team conferences and documentation in accordance with policy.
• Participates in patient rehabilitation programs, ensuring priority on education and discharge planning from the day of admission.
• Communicates patient status changes effectively to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervises ancillary nursing staff, delegates appropriately, and contributes positively to teamwork and unit morale.
• Ensures personal and environmental safety following hospital and nursing policies.
• Maintains supplies, monitors charges, and provides cost-effective care to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Assumes charge responsibility after orientation as requested and actively pursues professional growth.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
