Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized emergency care to patients within a busy hospital environment on night shifts, with a focus on delivering quality patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.

Position: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Not specified (general healthcare facility setting)
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: 02/21/2027
Required Qualifications: Valid NY license, or proof of application with applied date; 1 year minimum of ER experience; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIHSS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start in packet; NIHSS will be required prior to starting; Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years; Prior travel experience preferred; Charge experience is preferred.
Additional Information:
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Charge nurse experience is preferred
- 1 year minimum of ER experience required
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining NY license; licensing takes 6-8 weeks
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is required for submission
- All work should be within an environment with reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended during winter months
- No block schedules, flexible to meet unit and patient needs
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
- IVS will offer assignment
- Schedule includes working any day from Monday to Sunday
