Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This position involves floating between units at the healthcare facility, providing patient care in adult and geriatric populations. The role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license acceptable); ACLS and BLS certifications; experience in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, interpretation of arterial blood gases, dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting/maintaining IVs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Surgical patients, ORIF, Wound Vac/infections, cellulitis, BKA, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive adult and geriatric patient care, managing complex medical devices and protocols, and participating in interdisciplinary team activities.
• Certification and experience in the following areas are necessary: ACLS, BLS, and at least one year of recent clinical experience in a related environment.
• Candidates should be prepared to float between units as needed, including Providence St. Josephs and Providence Mt. Carmel hospitals, if census requires.
• Submission requirements include two references covering at least one year within the last three years, and response to questions regarding previous employment at Providence facilities.
• Additional operational details: Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays and request all time-off or scheduling preferences during the application process.
