Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing critical care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a Level III Trauma ICU within a busy hospital setting. The position requires delivering specialized patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, RN License; Education: Required RN license; Location: Lewiston, ME; Experience: 0 years minimum
• Schedule: Nights shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include caring for patients with trauma, neuro injuries, sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, stroke, and complicated surgeries
• The ICU unit features ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, extensive safe-patient handling equipment, and Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
• Experience in trauma or neuro cases is preferred
• Must be flexible to float where needed, potentially including CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency departments
• Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and teamwork
• No specific educational degree beyond RN licensure is required; prior experience preferred but not required
• Submission requires current ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications, and an active RN license
