Job Summary
Radiology Nurse, located in the Diagnostic Department, provides specialized nursing care for radiology procedures. The role involves pre, intra, and post procedural care within a dynamic imaging environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during diagnostic exams.

Job Details

• Position Description: Will consider Interventional Radiology (IR) candidates; department covers multiple radiology modalities including MRI, Mammography, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and General Radiology.
• Certifications & Experience: BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred. WI or compact state RN license. Minimum 2 years diagnostic nursing experience with procedural expertise.
• Schedule: Four shifts of 10 hours each, from 07:30 AM to 03:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Total hours per week: 40.
• Responsibilities include patient care before, during, and after radiology procedures, IV starts as needed, and monitoring during imaging studies.
• EMR & PACS experience is required, specifically familiarity with Cerner.
• Additional Information: No supervision as Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech; no Registered Radiology Assistants; radiologist on-site; orientations provided; scrubs not supplied.
