Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Rockport, ME. This assignment involves providing circulating nursing services within a small community hospitals operating room for a 13-week period. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams specializing in various service lines, including orthopedics, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, and ENT.

Job Details

• Position: RN-OR Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room
• Location: Rockport, ME
• Schedule: Days, 9-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with rotating days off. Call shifts require availability for one weeknight call per week from 16:30 to 07:00 and one weekend (48 hours) of on-call every 6 weeks or so, depending on staffing needs.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), minimum of 3 years of circulating experience in an operating room within a smaller facility, with experience across multiple service lines including orthopedics, urology, OB/GYN, general surgery, and ENT.
• Additional Information: The candidate should be a team player, willing to assist across different units as needed, with a focus on teamwork, flexibility, and patient-centered care. The team emphasizes a collaborative environment with clear expectations, and scrub attire is provided.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have recent surgical experience; additional skills in multiple service lines are preferred. Experience in community hospital settings is highly valued.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with team members occasionally assisting on other units due to low census.
