Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in the OR specialty at the healthcare facility. This position involves supporting surgical procedures with a focus on neuro/spine experiences, working in a fast-paced environment on day shifts. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation of advanced medical equipment and patient care.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology experience, neuro experience preferred
- Additional Responsibilities: Support OR procedures involving neuro/spine cases, operate DaVinci Robot, neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump, and other advanced surgical equipment
- Responsibilities include assisting surgical team during procedures, maintaining sterile environment, and supporting patient safety standards
- Dress Code: Scrub attire provided by the unit
- Weekends, on-call, and occasional overtime during holidays may be required
