Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) professional for a position in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves managing patients through various cardiac interventions, including catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and neuro interventions, with a focus on admitting, preparing, and recovering procedural cases.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Illinois license or initiation of application process, BLS, ACLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Responsibilities include managing cases such as STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, heart catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, IVC placements, temporary pacemaker insertions, TEEs, cardioversions, and electrophysiology studies.
• Must be able to read tele strips, titrate drips, and administer IV medications. Experience with peripheral angiograms, interventional radiology, neuro interventions, and use of EMR - Epic, with Philips monitoring equipment preferred.
• Must handle patient admission, prep, and recovery, perform work with a charge nurse on each shift, and work in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
• Scrubs are provided, and unit-specific orientation lasts approximately one week, covering four shifts.
• Shifts are scheduled for 10 hours, with potential for staying late depending on case load.
