Description

Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse in the region. This role involves providing care to surgical patients post-procedure, including adults and pediatric patients, across various specialties such as ICU, MRI, Oncology, and Interventional Radiology. The position requires independent and efficient functioning within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ND or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years recent PACU experience, Critical Care or Intermediate Unit experience preferred.
Schedule: 12-hour days shifts with start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Call responsibilities include 3-5 weeknights and 1-2 weekends in a six-week cycle, with floating to other units/departments as needed.
Additional Information: The position involves caring for all surgical specialties, including ICU, MRI, Oncology, and Interventional Radiology patients post-procedure, utilizing Epic charting, AcuDose Medication Dispensing, and Phillips monitors. The unit has 16 bays, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1-1 or 2-1. Candidates must have Epic experience, note if previously employed by the organization with an end date at least six months prior, and badge in/out at the facility.
Submission Requirements: Clinicians must submit credentials and note in submission if they have previously worked for the organization.
