Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Tech with Obstetrics (OB) experience Arcadia, CA. This travel assignment is for a qualified Surgical Technician with OB experience to support a busy OR unit performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. The role involves working variable shifts in a dynamic hospital setting, providing critical support for patient care and surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year as a Surgical Technician with OB experience; certifications include BLS. Surgical Technician program or certification preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. The assignment runs from 10/19/2026 to 01/16/2027, with orientation deadline by 09/29/2026.
• Responsibilities: Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, maintain sterile technique, assist surgical staff, and adhere to hospital policies.
• Additional Certifications: Must successfully complete and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within four months of hire; if not currently certified, it is recommended.
• Holidays: Travelers providing services in the OR are expected to work two of the three major holidays listed: Thanksgiving/Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
• References: Required.
• Onboarding: Mandatory flu vaccination during flu season, from November 1st to May 30th; COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not required.
