Operating Room (OR) Nurse Nashville, TN
This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy OR setting. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic, neurosurgery, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.
Job Details
- Location: Nashville, TN
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Position Description: The role involves supporting a 20-bed OR unit with a patient ratio of 1:1, primarily assisting with surgeries such as neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, colorectal, robotic general surgery, bariatric, ENT, urology, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical technologist (STFA) or Registered Nurse FirstAssistant (RNFA); current CPR certification; active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state; multi-year OR experience in the current role.
- Additional Information: Experience with endovascular procedures, DaVinci robotics, and Meditech charting is preferred.
- Responsibilities include assisting with complex surgical cases, handling robotic equipment, and adhering to hospital policies and surgical standards.
