A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in the local healthcare facility to provide high-quality patient care in a specialized hospital setting. This position involves supervising nursing staff, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care to ensure safety and optimal outcomes for patients in a progressive care environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift; minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience; valid nursing license; degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, participates in patient rehabilitation, initiates discharge planning and patient teaching, and ensures accurate documentation. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, participates in team-building activities, and maintains open communication with the healthcare team. Assumes charge responsibility as requested and actively pursues professional growth through continuing education.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
