Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is available in the area, offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced critical care environment. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients requiring advanced interventions, with a focus on cardiovascular and surgical cases. The ideal candidate will be experienced in critical care settings, with specific expertise in cardiothoracic surgery and device management.

Job Details

• Position Description: 48 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule, every other weekend, including holiday coverage during the winter holidays. The role requires the ability to float between intensive care units and intermediate care units.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association certification, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - American Heart Association certification, minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, cardiothoracic surgery experience, familiarity with devices such as IABP and IMPELLA, EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency, and must be separated from the healthcare provider for at least 6 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care devices and skills in managing complex cardiac cases is highly desirable.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit all required certifications and proof of experience.
