Description
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist Pediatric Surgery, located at a healthcare provider. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the pediatric operating room environment. Candidates with a background in neuro, orthopedic, ENT, general, or eye surgeries are preferred.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, Location, and Experience: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and charge experience required; relevant OR experience of at least 2 years in pediatric or general surgery settings preferred.
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include assisting in pediatric surgeries with neuro, orthopedic, ENT, general, and eye specialties, ensuring adherence to all safety and clinical protocols, and documenting care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Candidates should have OR experience, with scrub skills preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional information: Must be available to start on 10/26/2026 and work through 01/23/2027.
