Job Summary
The Labor and Delivery Department is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to join the healthcare team on a temporary basis. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care to individuals across the reproductive and maternal health spectrum, focusing on safety, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care. The Clinical Nurse II will collaborate with the inter-professional team to support positive patient outcomes and uphold organizational standards.
Job Details
- Position: Clinical Nurse II Labor and Delivery Department
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse License; Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification via Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN); 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery and antepartum experience; Proficiency in clinical equipment/machines, computers, and technology within the practice setting; Knowledge of the California Nurse Practice Act and organization policies.
- Preferred Qualifications: High-risk antepartum experience
- Additional Information: The role requires the ability to manage complex patient care assignments, guide unlicensed assistive personnel, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
