Job Summary
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) specialist in an acute care facility located in an unspecified region. This role involves providing specialized pediatric emergency care across various pediatric specialties, including Hematology/Oncology, Med Surg, and others, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Education and Experience: Active Iowa/IA license or valid multistate license, 2 years of relevant pediatric and pediatric emergency room experience, pediatric experience within previous 24 months, pediatric emergency room experience within previous 15 months, EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 12 months required, no first-time travelers, must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
• Responsibilities: Provide emergency pediatric care across multiple specialties, adapt to unit staffing needs with potential floating across NICU, general pediatric, and pediatric emergency areas
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Submission Requirements: Resume or employment history demonstrating 24 months of pediatric and pediatric emergency room experience, specific skills checklist aligned with pediatric specialties, valid drivers license, performance evaluations/reference checks within 24 months, valid BLS and PALS certifications, TNCC certification required
