Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), located in Iowa, is seeking experienced healthcare professionals for a night shift position. This role involves providing critical care to pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art unit, with potential to float to NICU, General Pediatrics, and Emergency Department as needed. The position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association)
• Education and Experience: 24 months of current Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience required, with a valid Iowa or multistate license required, and EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities: Care for critically-ill infants, children, and teens; float to NICU, ED, and General Pediatrics; manage equipment including vents, high flow, IV pumps, and feeding pumps; participate in family consultations and care planning
• Submission requirements: Quick interview process via phone call/text from a 405 area code, with availability for orientation sessions on 10/26, 11/9, 11/23, or 12/7
