Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse opportunity in a high-risk obstetrics setting. This position involves caring for culturally diverse patient populations, with responsibilities including circulating on cesarean sections and supporting high-risk deliveries. The role requires flexibility for floating within the scope of practice within a facility that handles approximately 300+ births per month.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Education: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, valid state license (compact license accepted)
• Location Requirements: Candidates must hold a California state license; no pending license accepted
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs, with travelers being first to float within scope
• Responsibilities: Assist with high-risk obstetric procedures, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, antepartum care, postpartum management, and neonatal procedures. Support baby-friendly protocols, breastfeeding, and parent education.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to prior work at Providence facilities, two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, and confirmation of licensing and experience.
