Labor and Delivery Nurse in en_US This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods within a healthcare facility. The role supports high-risk obstetric cases and neonatal care, emphasizing patient safety and family support.

Job Details

Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRS
Education Requirements: Not specified
State License: California state license required; must be valid at submission
Experience: 1 year of experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric care required
Location Requirements: Within 50 miles of the facility; compact license accepted
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Shift Time: Nights
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 04/19/2027
Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs
Responsibilities include assisting with amniocentesis, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, postpartum care, neonatal assessment, and high-risk obstetric interventions.
Candidates must include response to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility, with details if applicable.
References: Two references covering one year within the last three years are required before start.
