This oncology nurse position involves providing specialized care in an outpatient oncology clinic, focusing on chemotherapy infusions and port draws. Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, Oncology Certified (ONCC or ONS)
• Education Requirements: Relevant nursing degree, active state license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Experience Requirement: At least 1 year of experience in oncology or infusion nursing.
• Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, monitoring infusion processes, caring for ports, and managing other aspects of oncology patient care.
• Familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps is required.
• EPIC electronic charting system experience preferred.
• Candidates should be flexible to work shifts between 7:45 AM 6:00 PM, depending on the schedule.
• Submission of two references covering at least one year within the past three years is required during the compliance process.
• Candidates must include responses to specific screening questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility, and be prepared for potential floating between nearby facilities if needed.
