Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Days Shift 36 hours/week Starting 10/19/2026. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing nursing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety. The RN will supervise ancillary staff and participate actively in patient discharge planning and education.

Job Details

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to first shift, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Education/Experience: Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience preferred, with a focus on progressive care.
• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• The RN will provide patient education, initiate discharge planning, communicate with multidisciplinary team members, and supervise ancillary nursing staff.
• Participate in team activities to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies and clinical standards and supports professional growth through ongoing education.
• Performs duties consistent with the organizations safety and care quality protocols.
