Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care within a Progressive Care Unit, with responsibilities including managing patients in units such as PCU, Emergency Department Hold, and two Medical Surgical units. The role requires ICU training and a background in PCU or Telemetry, with a focus on flexible floating as needed.

Job Details

  • Position: RN for the Float Pool in a Progressive Care Unit, ICU trained traveler, with experience in PCU/Telemetry.
  • Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (any state license accepted; VT license to be applied for upon acceptance), BLS, ACLS, Dysrhythmia testing, at least 1 year of experience in the specialty.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience, prior ICU or float pool experience.
  • Additional Information: Orientation occurs biweekly. Schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Candidates should have reliable transportation as public transit is limited.
