Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located at a healthcare providers observation unit near the emergency department. This fast-paced environment requires the ongoing management of patients with varying acuity levels, including lower to higher acuity patients and mid holds, with potential to float to other areas of competency. Candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU RN for observation unitfast paced environment with changing patient acuity. May be required to float to other areas of competency. Nurses to staff a 28-bed inpatient observation unit near the emergency department, managing medical beds, trauma overflow beds, and patients across a range of acuity levels.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred; a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care ICU setting; must have completed education requirements related to specialty nursing; location requirements: candidates must be available to work 12-hour night shifts; 2 years of experience in a similar specialty in an acute care environment.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should load all demographic information, including badge-appropriate photo. Holidays are an expectation for staff.
