Description
Job Summary:
The Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) position is based in a healthcare facility within the specified location. This role involves supporting surgical procedures across various specialties, utilizing surgical equipment, and maintaining sterile techniques. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to the facilitys safety and operational protocols.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, current license in hand, and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support surgical teams during procedures, operate specialized surgical equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Certifications: BLS required; NBSTSA preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred, along with proficiency in scrub and circulate roles, and ability to work with various surgical specialties.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at a healthcare organization, references covering the last 1 year, and confirmation of current licensure.
