Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location currently unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role requires utilizing specialized knowledge and skills to ensure quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. No minimum years of experience specified, but experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area is preferred.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Providing perioperative care in the operating room, including preparing the patient, assisting during surgery, and ensuring patient safety throughout. Involves working with various surgical specialties, including general, gynecology, orthopedic, podiatry, and urology, with robotic experience preferred. On-call shifts are included, with specific hours and rotation details.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior travel RN experience and at least two years of OR nursing experience are required.
