Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care at an acute care facility. The position requires experience in hospital settings, with a focus on trauma, pediatrics, and general medical emergencies, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; CA state license required; pending licenses accepted.
- Education Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of hospital experience with grossing experience as a hard stop.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, including trauma and emergency department experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification preferred but can be sent as a screen candidate; recent ER or hospital experience required.
- Responsibilities include managing trauma and general medical emergencies, interpretation of dysrhythmias, triage, starting and maintaining IVs, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
- Additional Requirements: Must have worked at a healthcare facility in a capacity comparable to an ER setting, and be able to cover shifts as needed, including holidays.
- Submission requirements include answers to whether the candidate has prior experience at a similar facility and providing two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
