Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment within a designated emergency department setting. The position requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, timely treatment to patients with diverse medical needs.

Job Details

  • Location: San Antonio, TX
  • Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse responsible for delivering urgent medical care, including performing procedures such as IV placement, bloodwork, Foley catheter insertion, breathing treatments, and medication administration.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications; valid nursing license; at least 2 years ER experience; current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications; minimum of 2 years of ER work experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 02/01/2027.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds and 15 staff members, operating on a rotating weekend schedule with four weekends required out of every eight. No on-call duties are specified. Candidates should demonstrate a team-oriented attitude, accountability, integrity, and compassion for patients. Experience with Meditech EHR system and FSED environment is preferred but not required.
