Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) healthcare professional for a night shift position. This role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures, including those with cardiogenic shock and aneurysms, within a dedicated Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on high-acuity patient care.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Cardiovascular ICU nurse or HCP needed for a 12-hour night shift within a specialized ICU with 6 beds, focusing on patients with complex cardiac conditions such as CV surgeries, cardiogenic shock, and AAA.
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a healthcare professional with ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. Must have experience with fresh hearts. Education and experience requirements include a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience and travel experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system is required. The position involves travel, with acceptance of local candidates at a reduced rate (less than 75 miles). Ability to meet the criteria for travel assignment is necessary.
