Job Summary
Post Partum Floor Nurse L&D Post Partum Location not specified. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a labor and delivery/postpartum setting. The role requires delivering comprehensive patient care, monitoring maternal and newborn status, and supporting maternal and neonatal teaching programs.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications:
  1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Certifications include Basic Life Support and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring. Skills with IV insertion, lab draws, high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin), Urine Point of Care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, and use of IStat. Experience with adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, heel sticks, venipuncture on newborns, and knowledge of neonatal medications, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers, gyn teaching, postpartum bladder training, maternal-newborn teaching, and maternal-neonatal monitoring.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Bachelors degree in nursing or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of labor and delivery experience. Minimum of three (3) years of postpartum experience. Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Schedule:
  Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Shift hours are 12 hours; candidate must be available to start on 10/19/2026 and work through 01/15/2027.
  The position requires demonstrating proficiency in supporting gyn and maternal-neonatal teaching, as well as neonatal and maternal monitoring and care.
