Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients within a community hospital that is accredited by the Joint Commission. The ICU nurse will be responsible for managing patients with critical conditions, including trauma, cardiovascular, and respiratory issues, in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position: RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Location: Lake Havasu City
• Schedule: 3x12s shift, Days, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, NIH National Institutes of Health certification, 0 years of experience (minimum)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in travel nursing or similar fast-paced ICU settings, familiarity with adult and geriatric patient care
• Additional Information: The ICU unit has 16 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2. The unit cares for patients with a variety of critical diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, Stroke, Trauma, and others, utilizing equipment like Baxter pumps. The unit uses the Medhost electronic health record system.
