Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced environment with a daily patient census of approximately 190-200. The ER RN will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, triaging ambulance arrivals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Job Details

  • Position Description: ER RN with strong emergency department experience and recent travel experience within a 50-mile radius. The shift includes rotating 12-hour shifts from 1 PM to 1 AM, 3 PM to 3 AM, 5 PM to 5 AM, and 7 PM to 7 AM, with availability for each listed shift.
  • Required Qualifications: California licensure, BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) or ENPC, NIHSS, minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, superior references, travel experience, and EPIC electronic medical record system experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), 3-5 years of ER experience, trauma and pediatrics experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking abilities and the capacity to manage a fast-paced environment. They should have experience triaging ambulance patients at the bedside and excellent patient communication skills. The patient demographic is generally well-educated and vocal about the quality of care received.
