Job Summary
Pediatric Float Nurse Pediatrics, Pediatric Float located at the organizations pediatric acute care unit. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients across various levels of care in a children's hospital setting. The Pediatric Float Nurse will support multiple units within the pediatric facility, ensuring quality care during night shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric Acute Care (Float) Nurse working within a Clinical Resource Team (Float Pool) for a 13-week assignment starting from 12/15/2026 through 03/20/2027.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado, BSN degree, minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Acute Care experience, valid BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float Requirements: Float to various pediatric care units including surgical, medical, pulmonary, psychiatric, NICU, and more.
- Additional Information: Experience with varied patient populations, including mental health and ventilated patients, is preferred. Prior experience in a children's hospital setting or with a float team is advantageous. Medical and religious exemption requests from influenza vaccination are accepted if documented appropriately.
