Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, located in Indiana, is tasked with providing specialized care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. This role involves managing higher acuity medical-surgical patients, including those recovering from neuro/spinal surgeries and trauma cases, in a busy healthcare setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Focuses on neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube, groin site management post IR, and care for trauma patients.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 1-2 years of relevant experience; proficiency in neuro assessments and critical thinking skills; ability to manage post-operative drain and chest tube care; experience with EMR systems (Cerner).
- Schedule: Nights shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Floating to other medical-surgical or telemetry units is required to support operational needs. Submission must include current license, certifications, driver's license, and permanent home address matching ID. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Candidates with pending state licenses will be considered.
