Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN position in a healthcare setting located in the specialty area of Labor and Delivery. The role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with responsibilities including monitoring fetal and maternal health, managing labor progress, and assisting with delivery procedures. The position requires flexibility with shift scheduling and on-call availability, supporting the organizations commitment to exceptional maternal care.

Job Details

  • Position Description: L&D RN providing skilled nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum in a hospital environment.
  • Shift Time: Nights
  • Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 10/12/2026
  • End Date: 01/09/2027
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, advanced NRP, C-EFM; prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities must be noted in the work history; 0 years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment in a high-acuity maternal care setting.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
    • On-call shift required, one in a six-week period, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.
    • Float rotation may be required.
    • Prior employment with Johns Hopkins systems must be verified before application.
