Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Location: Various Campuses. This position involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level III or IV NICU setting, managing high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries, and floating between different campuses as needed. The role emphasizes clinical expertise in neonatal patient management and adherence to safety standards.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Education Requirements: Valid State License (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Level III or IV NICU setting
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
- Responsibilities include administration of blood and blood products, care for central lines and implanted lines, neonatal feeding management (bottle, breast, gavage), neonatal dosage calculations, management of babies 23-24 weeks gestation, ventilator management including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, and vents, along with attending high-risk deliveries.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with NICU patient ratios (2 patients for days, nights, and weekends), be open to floating across campuses including First Hill, Issaquah, Edmonds, and other nearby facilities, and address all schedule and time-off requests upfront during application. The position involves participation in modules before start and during orientation, requiring time management of non-billable training hours.
- Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless for an scheduled interview communicated by the account manager. References covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required, including at least 2 references such as Charge RNs or Lead Nurses.
