Job Summary
Med/Surg Telemetry Float RN Portland, ME. This role involves providing patient care across multiple units within a busy acute care hospital. The RN will float to various Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology units, ensuring high-quality care tailored to the needs of diverse patient populations.
Job Details
- Role: RN, Specialty: Telemetry Medical Surgical Float for a float pool position requiring flexibility to work across multiple units within the organization.
- Location: Portland, ME
- Shift: Day shift, 0700 1930, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN License (State of Maine), ACLS Preferred, BLS Required, 2 years inpatient hospital experience, Level 1 Trauma experience required, 1 year travel experience required, minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Responsibilities include floating to all Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology units within the organization, interpreting telemetry strips, and providing patient-centered care.
- Education modules will be assigned by the organization's Education Department for Day 1 onboarding.
- Schedule details: 12-hour shifts with minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Must have experience working in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting or larger, with at least 1 year of travel or float pool experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
