Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN Gallatin, TN. This healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join its team for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing care for maternity women and newborns, with responsibilities including fetal monitoring, assisting with c-sections, and circulating duties.
Job Details
- Position Description: The facility uses OB Tracevue for charting strips and performs its own cesarean sections. The candidate is expected to be able to circulate.
- Required Qualifications: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Labor and Delivery experience.
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience (not required).
- Additional Information: Unit has 5 Labor & Delivery beds, with a patient ratio of 1:1 on Pitocin and 1:2 otherwise. The candidate must have a positive attitude, be cooperative, and possess initiative.
