Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, MO. This position involves assisting with vascular surgeries and hybrid imaging procedures in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital setting. The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of nurses and surgical techs to deliver high-quality patient care across outpatient and inpatient cases.

Job Details

  • Shift: Weekend Days, Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, 3x12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1900, with a weekly guaranteed minimum of 36 hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri); BLS from American Heart Association; a minimum of 2 years of experience. The experience must include Level 1 or Level 2 trauma, with scrub and OR circulator expertise.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of practice.
  • Additional Information: Assists vascular surgeons in the operating room and hybrid imaging suites, working with a team for endoscopic and open cases. Utilizes the nursing process for patient care, maintains patient confidentiality, and adheres to institutional standards and policies. Performs assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Works in a clean, air-conditioned environment, with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
