Description

Job Summary
Operating Room (First Assistant) in a healthcare facility located in the area. This position involves providing advanced surgical assistance across multiple specialties, including robotics, bariatrics, general, colorectal, orthopedics/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology. The role requires proficient scrub and circulating experience to ensure smooth operative procedures.

Job Details

Certifications and Qualifications: BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of scrub and circulating experience as an RN in the operating room; valid state license (compact license required).
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/03/2026 and ending on 02/02/2027.
Responsibilities: Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, provide support in robotics, bariatrics, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgeries. Proficiency in counting sponges and related items with circulating nurse required.
Call Requirements: Kidney call rotation Monday through Friday 1800-0600; kidney call rotation Saturday and Sunday 24 hours 0600-0600; Saturday and Sunday general call rotation 0700-1700; holiday general call rotation 0700-1700.
Additional Details: Must be proficient in multiple surgical specialties and have at least 1 year of scrub and circulating RN experience in the operating room. Candidates should be flexible to work scheduled shifts and rotations as outlined.
Submission Requirements: Must include responses to specific scheduling and employment history questions during submittal, along with two recent references covering at least one year within the last three years.
