Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty job located at a Level II Trauma Center. The position involves providing surgical support for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, with a focus on at least 10 call shifts per month. The role requires a quick learner willing to float to general operating rooms and assist in complex surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, WA state license (compact license accepted)
• Education/Experience: At least 1 year of experience required; minimum of 0 years experience listed but a professional with 1+ year preferred.
• Schedule: 4X10 Day Shift, 10-hour shifts, weekly minimum of 40 hours.
• Position Description: Support for CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve surgery, VATS, mediastinoscopy, RATS, CVL support with carotid cutdowns, and laser lead standby.
• Clinical Skills: Singular scrub per cardiothoracic cases, floating to general OR, flexible endoscope reprocessing including bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, and EBUS.
• Additional Operational Details: Ability to assist with learning, quick learner preferred, willing to float as needed, and open to start ASAP.
• Call Requirements: At least 10 call shifts per month, ability to work 3 of 5 holidays.
• Unit & Facility Details: 18 rooms, daily average surgical volume of 55 cases, support for adults and geriatrics.
