Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room Technician specializing in surgical technology at their facility. The position involves supporting orthopedic surgeries, including total joint procedures, and requires experience with robotic surgery systems. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of operative procedures within a busy surgical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Operating Room Technician with orthopedic specialization, responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, particularly within orthopedic and total joint surgeries. Must have experience with DaVinci robotic systems, and be knowledgeable in implementation of new programs scheduled for November.
- Certifications and Education: BLS certification and CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required. Experience with DaVinci robotics and orthopedic surgical skills are essential.
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities.
- Start Date: 11/02/2026
- End Date: 01/30/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certification as CST, BLS certification, orthopedic surgery experience, DaVinci robotic experience, ability to work rotating shifts, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner electronic medical record experience, prior experience with total joint surgeries, and familiarity with implementation of robotic surgery programs.
- Additional Information: Manager interviews are scheduled after IVS review; please provide availability for expedited process. Orientation occurs biweekly. Prior to submission, ensure all employment history is complete and accurate, including work history with health system names, bed count, EMR technology, and trauma level if applicable. Public transportation is not accessible; candidates are encouraged to have their own vehicle.
