Mother/Baby Couplet Care registered nurse needed for a healthcare provider. The position involves providing specialized care to neonatal and mother patients, including attending deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum support. The role offers a dynamic, team-oriented environment with shifts primarily during nights.

Job Details

  • Position: Mother/Baby Couplet Care Nurse
  • Location: Not specified
  • Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California registered nurse license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, 3 years of nursing experience, experience in Level II or III Neonatal Intensive Care Units, attendance at deliveries, neonatal resuscitation experience, Mother/Baby couplet care experience, and experience with charting in Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NICU and postpartum experience.
  • Additional Information: Float: Float rotation may be required. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend, with a total of 7 weekend shifts every 13 weeks. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to perform various neonatal and postpartum procedures and assessments. Orientation includes 64 hours, and compliance with onboarding and verification deadlines is essential.
