Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the greater area. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a high-volume, acute care hospital environment. The role requires adaptable, experienced professionals ready to deliver high-quality patient care on a day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Position Description: ER Nurse providing care for diverse patient populations in a 16-bed Emergency Department with a daily census of approximately 120 patients.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS certified; minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of ER nursing experience and familiarity with arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, trauma care, stroke protocols, and advanced emergency procedures.
• Responsibilities include managing trauma cases, stroke certifications, pediatric and adult emergency care, and various advanced monitoring and procedural skills.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level I or II experience, and preferred prior community hospital or LTAC experience.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include two references covering a 1-year period (6 months for CNAs), and responses to prior work at Providence facilities if applicable.
