Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in the location provided. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume radiology department, supporting complex procedures such as port placements, liver biopsies, and neuro cases. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Education: Nursing degree with a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be within 80 miles of the facility.
• Experience: Two years of cath lab experience with specific skills in IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) management.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, four 10-hour days per week, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, with rotation in weeknight and weekend call responsibilities approximately once every three weekdays and weekends.
• Responsibilities include verifying orders and consent, patient assessments, preparing rooms, circulating cases, administering moderate sedation, monitoring hemodynamics, documentation, and coordinating with team members.
• Additional Information: Staff will receive unit-specific training and shadowing, with designated times for orientation and buddy calls.
• Submission Requirement: Clinicians must confirm previous employment with the organization, ensuring previous tenure ended at least six months prior to the submission date.
