Job Summary
Pediatric Psychology (PEDS PSYCH) Nurse in an inpatient psychiatric unit at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients within a hospital setting, supporting mental health and behavioral health needs. The assignment begins October 20, 2026, and lasts for approximately 12 weeks.
Job Details
- Position Description: Inpatient Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler at the Anschutz Medical Campus
- Shift: 12-Hour Days, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license, BSN degree, BLS/CPR certification with at least six months remaining before expiration, minimum 1 year of Pediatric Psychiatric and Pediatric experience, and a minimum of 1 year of experience overall.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required; RNs may be reassigned within their clinical competence to practice areas such as the Intensive Psychiatric Unit (IPU), Neuro-Scientific Care (NSC), and Emergency Department (ED) within thirty-five miles of the assigned facility.
- Additional Information: No requested time off approved within the first two weeks of the assignment; medical and religious exemption requests for the seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
