Description

Job Summary
The United States Surgical Technician / Operating Room (OR) Tech is responsible for assisting in the transfer of patients to and from the operating suite, preparing instruments, and supporting the RN circulator within an acute care setting. This role involves providing technical support during surgical procedures and maintaining sterile environments to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.

Job Details

Position Description: Assist in transferring patients to and from the operating room, support room cleanup, restock medications, prepare and pass instruments, and operate in a team environment with RN circulators.
Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, ND UAP license (must have temporary license in hand to start orientation). Education requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience or more in a related role, with licensure or registration as specified. Experience requirement: 0 years (minimum experience of 1 year). Location requirements: ND.
Schedule: 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities one night per week, two weekends per month, including rotating holidays.
Additional Information: The role requires utilization of EPIC charting system and includes 1-2 weeks of unit-specific training and orientation. Floating to other units/departments is not specified.
