OR Tech
Overview
- 3 OR suites
- Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm M-F
- On call one night per week and two weekends per month
- Rotating holidays
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- 1-2 weeks of training; Monday - Friday days
- Will accept local placements
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience or more
- BLS
- ND UAP required, with temp license in hand even to start orientation
- National Certification/registration
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Certificate
Job Duties
- Assist in transferring patients to and from the OR suite
- Assist with cleanup of the room
- Assist with RN circulator
- Order and restock medications
- Prepare and pass instruments

- EPIC is used in the unit/dept.
