Job Summary
OR Surgical Technician Location: Not Specified. This inpatient surgical technician role supports a busy main operating room with a focus on Level 3 trauma cases. The position involves working in a hospital setting, assisting with both inpatient and outpatient surgeries across various specialties without neuro cases, ensuring smooth operations during daily scheduled cases and add-ons.

Job Details

• Position Description: Support a high-volume surgical team handling approximately 22-45 cases per day across multiple specialties, including general surgery, gynecology, urology, TURP, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, dental, bariatrics, and plastics. No neuro cases involved.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS certification, WA state license, minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required.
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week, working days with weekend and holiday call coverage, with call start times at 9 PM and ending at 6:30 AM, response time required within 30 minutes, with additional weekend call rotations.
• Additional Responsibilities: Scrubbing required, rotating holiday coverage, providing support across main and CVOR suites, with potential float to other ORs if experienced.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgery rooms, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system, and ability to adapt to variable start times and block scheduling.
• Submission Requirements: Active license to submit, BSN not required.
