The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in Englewood, CO. This role involves providing specialized critical care to cardiac and neuro patient populations within a 16-bed ICU unit, supporting a team of dedicated healthcare professionals on day shifts.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac ICU (ICU OH)
• Location: Englewood, CO
• Unit Information: Cardiac ICU / (654) with 16 beds and a team of approximately 60 staff members
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certification and Education Requirements: Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Certifications, and minimum of 1-year current ICU hospital experience
• Responsibilities include performing procedures such as intubations and central line placements, operating cardiac monitoring equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
• Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations, Meditech EMR, and prior experience with intubations and central line placement are preferred.
• The unit has 24/7 physician coverage including intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons.
